THE REAL STATISTICS ON DISEASE RATE V VACCINATION. We are normally shown stats on how vaccines saved us from certain death. These usually start with data from just before vaccines were introduced. From say 1950. The stats on this site are of death rates from the late 1800's showing how deaths had fallen dramatically before vaccination due to better sanitation, diet and anti-biotics.

HPV - cervical cancer vaccine
In the USA the vaccine used is Gardasil, and this vaccine will be taken on as standard in the UK by the NHS as of September 2012.
There have been some serious adverse effects from this vaccine including death.
Gabby Swank who is the girl suffering seizures and strokes, and general pain and fatigue in the film The Greater Good is, I am happy to say, still alive. Her doctors had predicted she would not be by now. This is a link to a video of her now. I add this in just because her attitude is so inspiring!
One of the worlds leading researchers on the Human Papilloma Virus, Diane Harper, MD, MPH, MS, spoke in the film of her concerns about the Gardasil vaccine. This vaccine was fast tracked by the FDA and came to market with very limited testing. Diane Harper's view is that if women are screen properly they will not die from Cervical cancer, and that the risks from the cancer are lower than those from the vaccine.

Thank to everyone who can to my Movie & Discussion night on Vaccination. We watched The Greater Good. A movie demonstrating the pitfalls of vaccination, an issue I feel strongly should be discussed openly. There is a lot of emotion around peoples opinions on vaccination because what we are dealing with is a paradigm - a belief system rather than real science.
Children, young people, healthy people and old people are getting damaged by vaccines. It is totally accepted that some will. That is unfortunate consequence of the 'herd immunity' approach to health care. However for those who fall by the wayside it really isn't ok. It makes folly of the Hippocratic oath taken by all doctors to 'First do no Harm'

The trouble is what we are dealing with is difficult to measure - the effects of long term inflammatory reactions are easily dismissed as coincidental or not related to vaccines. But when autism rates have gone from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 100, in just 25 years. In same period when the number of vaccines given to children has trebled.... my burning question is how many people will it take to be damaged by vaccination until policy is even looked at let alone changed. What if already the balance has been tipped between those supposedly protected by vaccines and those being damaged?
If you have not seen it then I highly recommend the film The Greater Good and the book by Trevor Gunn Vaccine - This book could remove the fear of childhood illness. This is a great book for any parent wanting to go vaccine free but afraid to.
