HPV - cervical cancer vaccine

In the USA the vaccine used is Gardasil, and this vaccine will be taken on as standard in the UK by the NHS as of September 2012.

There have been some serious adverse effects from this vaccine including death.

Gabby Swank who is the girl suffering seizures and strokes, and general pain and fatigue in the film The Greater Good is, I am happy to say, still alive. One of the worlds leading researchers on the Human Papilloma Virus, Diane Harper, MD, MPH, MS, spoke in the film of her concerns about the Gardasil vaccine. This vaccine was fast tracked by the FDA and came to market with very limited testing. Diane Harper's view is that if women are screen properly they will not die from Cervical cancer, and that the risks from the cancer are lower than those from the vaccine.
